Then and Now West Point Depot

A train pulls into West Point Depot in 1915. This was one of ten stations on the Stony Creek Line. The shed at the far right was the Liberty Bell Trolley stop.

2007. The same scene 92 years later. On rare occasion the train still comes through, but it doesn't stop. Passenger service ended in 1936. The trolley ran from 1912 till 1951.

August 24, 2019 83 years after the last passenger train left the West Point station, the "New Hope Railroad" train passes through the village carrying... passengers. This train ride was part of Lansdale's "Founders Day" celebration.
