Then and Now
West Point Firehouse

West Point Volunteer Fire Company (approx 1952)
The truck in the middle, a 1929 Hahn, was named "Ezmirelda" by the firemen.
The truck on the right is a 1947 Mack 750 GPM pumper. Both are owned by the fire company to this day.

Bigger fire trucks mean a bigger firehouse!
The original firehouse is now a banquet hall attached to a much larger firehouse.

The old firehouse is hidden under the new facade.

2013. Original firehouse is on the left.

Another 1952 photo.

1947 MACK Pumper, A.K.A. Engine No. 3, seen in the 1952 photos.
Cost in 1947 was $10,481.

The vintage fire trucks are still used in parades. Ezmirelda is on the right.
