Then and Now West Point Pike

2012. Now a parking lot for Merck & Co. .

Built in the 1700's, it was sold to Merck & Co in 1972.       Photo thanks to John Mascaro (It was promptly demolished before any effort could be made to  have it preserved.)

This 1934 map shows the location of the property (owned by Carrie Schuman on the map). It was purchased by  Thomas Mascaro in 1936. The property was also the site of Tom's company, West Point Products. Manufacturing facilities were on the upper side of the train tracks. The office was on West Point Pike near the residence.
