What is the West Point Business Association?

We are a group of local businesses who have formed a non-profit corporation with the purpose of:

To be thoroughly representative of the business, residential and professional interests of West Point.

To encourage the active participation of business people and residents in all things related to West Point.

To be an information source for West Point businesses and residents.

To preserve the historical significance of West Point.

To make West Point a better place to work and live.

To provide opportunities for business growth.

To foster a sense of community.

Who can join?

Anyone in West Point can join. There is a group of business owners that make up the business division, and any interested residents are encouraged to contact the WPBA as a Civic group.

What are the dues?

Business dues are 50$ every 6 months.

What are the benefits?

Businesses will enjoy being able to unite with one another with regard to issues that affect business development as well as community efforts and issues.

Civic members will be able to participate in improving the community in which they live, in an organized and unified fashion.

How often do the committees meet?

The business division meets monthly. The civic group has not yet formed. How often they meet will be determined by the group once it is established.

If I’m not a member, how can I become one?

Email us your name and address and telephone number, and we will contact you with information.

If I’d like to contribute financially to the WPBA, how do I go about doing so?

You may make a tax deductible contribution at any time. It can be mailed to the address below.

What does the money I donate get used for?

The funds donated to the group are used for projects and events that are being sponsored by the WPBA. All donations are tax deductible.

If I want to help in other ways, how can I go about doing so?

You can contact the WPBA to see what volunteer opportunities are available for administrative duties and upcoming events.
