The West Point Streetscape
Improvement Project was initiated in 2005 by Township
Manager Len Perrone. After ten years of government
red tape tied to a $300,000 grant for the project, the
work was completed in less than two months.
When the
Federal Government gives a township money they want
complete control over the project. Len stated something
to the effect of "Never again." The ten years
of haggling combined with inflation added another
$140,000 to the project. More detail can be found
