2020. The garage behind the house still exists and is rented by the next-door neighbor.
As you can see, those small pine trees in the 1989 photo have taken over.

1888 may have been the year the house was built. Some of the houses in the area were built between 1880 and 1900.

According to the Ambler Gazette, a "pipeless heater" was installed in the house of D. K. Kriebel of West Point, by Irvin Quinn in November of 1916. Also, according to the Gazette, he moved to Lansdale in 1923.

Here are a few more details. The Corrigans bought the house in September 1972 and sold it to Robert and Roslyn Rea in July of 1977. David and Judy Horrocks then bought the house in October of 1980. In November of 1988 the house was bought by Joseph and Eileen Lynch.

Merck & Co bought the house in May of 1993 for $146,500. In January of 1994 they had it demolished. At that time, the empty lot was assessed at $2000. However, in 2015 the lot was suddenly worth $147,120.

Thanks to Eileen Lynch and Linda Hoade for the 1989 photos.
